Wanzirai Makoni is a Data Manager in the Microbicide Research and Development to Advance HIV Prevention Technologies through Responsive Innovation and eXellence (MATRIX) project at Pangaea Zimbabwe AIDS Trust (PZAT). She holds a Master of Public Health degree. In her career in research, she has coordinated studies ensuring ethics and regulatory compliance, conducting qualitative data collection and analysis, dissemination of results and study close-out. She has a keen interest in research and development of new HIV prevention delivery technologies including multi-purpose. Additionally, she has experience coordinating studies investigating product acceptability and adherence among women and health care providers.
