Ms. Monica Longwe

Programme Manager for Aurum Institute/Research Capacity Manager on CaSE

Monica Longwe is the CaSE Program Manager and supports the development and implementation of a capacity strengthening fellowship program. Monica is currently a PHD student in Public Health at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. Her experience in Public Health spans over 17 years of Qualitative Research in Health and Development, Capacity Development in Qualitative Research Methods, and 10 years experience in Social and Behavior Change strategies. Most of her technical work has focused on conceptualizing, designing and developing theoretically and evidence-based social and behavior change communication programs; delivering effective community strategies, driving community mobilization interventions; and coordinating Policy and advocacy initiatives in HIV and TB.
