Project Management Specialist - Epidemiology

Lydia currently works at USAID-Kenya as Project Management Specialist –Epidemiology. In this role, she provides epidemiological and strategic information and analytics needed for the planning, design, implementation and monitoring of the Health, Population and Nutrition (HPN) programs. Currently she supports HIV/TB & Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) program areas. Before joining USAID, she worked in CDC, Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Partners in Health and Research Development (PHRD) where she provided data management and analytics technical support to the program teams. Lydia holds a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from Hasselt University-Belgium and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)-Kenya. Lydia likes reading and listening to music in her free time.
